I was thinking today about how my Mom's family has had a pretty rough year with the deaths of my grandmother and my uncle, but it has also been a wonderful year as we welcomed Cate, Hayden, and soon Cate's little sister or brother and Rachael and Aaron's first child, so I came across this passage and found comfort in it and thought I would share it with you.

Hayden is 15 months old today!
Hayden is 15 months old today! Wow! I cannot believe how quickly the past year has gone by! We took Hayden for a walk on a nature trail in his wagon that his Mimi and Papaw gave him for his birthday! He liked being pulled in it almost as much as he liked pulling or pushing it himself! Ha! We played at a little park and then had a play-date with his cousin Cate! You should see these two together! It's just "monkey see, monkey do" non-stop! They are hilarious! I think it's wonderful that these little cousins get to grow up together! They really enjoyed dancing, bouncing, and yelling together too! Well, I hope you enjoy these pictures! Love to you all!

MOVING!!!!
Well, it's official! We are now under contract to buy a beautiful ONE STORY (those are VERY hard to find here) here in San Antonio that is about 10 minutes from Hayden's daycare and very close to both 281 and 1604! This location will suit our needs much better than where we were. It's a 4 bedroom/3 bath house with an extra game room (aka the room where all of Hayden's stuff will go) a HUGE dining room, and even an office for Davin. This house also has a very large back yard for the dogs and a pretty nice size deck that Davin loves. I will get pictures of it posted once we get some of the rooms painted and the sellers get all of their boxes and furniture out of there. Anyway, it's a great place (very kid friendly)and we will close on May 15th so hopefully we will be all moved in by the first of June. We will be moving room by room BY OURSELVES WITHOUT ANY MOVERS! Those of you who remember how horrible our move from College Station to SA was will understand why we are doing this. Luckily we do have several BIG, STRONG guy friends who will help us move the big stuff. Ha! Our new address as of the end of May will be: 3611 Edge View, San Antonio, TX 78259.

Happy Birthday to Aunt Taryn!
Hayden's Aunt Taryn is 26 today!! Taryn and I have been friends since we were 2 and Hayden just loves her! He is so lucky to have so many awesome aunts! He's going to think Mommy or Daddy has TONS of sisters! That's pretty cool! We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends who we consider members of our family! Have a great birthday Taryn! We miss you here in Texas!

STREP THROAT!
Well, I have Strep Throat! I haven't had it in a long time so I forgot how quickly it hits you. I was completely fine until about 6 or 7 last night and my throat just started KILLING me. It hurt to swallow and it basically felt (feels) like someone is taking a razor blade to the inside of my throat. Nice! I don't feel sick though, so that's good! I still have masks from the fall when I had Bronchitis that I can wear around Davin and Hayden for the next few days since I will be contagious! Please keep your fingers crossed that NEITHER of them gets it! I already started my antibiotics and took my first round of pain meds so I should be good to go soon enough. Until then, if any of you needs to get in touch with me while I have this crud, please email or text message me since I have no voice. Ha! hope you are all doing well. :)

MORE teething!
Ok so, let me start by syaing that Hayden did not cut his first tooth until he was about 7 months old, so it took a while. He had the two bottom teeth for about 3-4 months before he, all at once, had four more teeth come in on the top and bottom. He has had seven teeth since about Christmas time and we have all joked that those were all he was going to get.....well NOT so!! Apparently, when Hayden teethes, he does not just get one tooth he gets SEVERAL. Right now he has about 4-5 molars coming in at the same time, so one of his new favoriate things to do is BITE! He has BOTH hands in his mouth, gnawing on them CONSTANTLY! He doesn't fuss about them though, he just chews on everything. I just hope he doesn't get my teeth and end up having braces and headgear for three years! He's too cute for that!

Welcome to our Webpage!
Well, this is something I have been meaning to do for months now and I am just getting around to it! Where does the time go?!?!?! I thought by creating a family website, it would allow people we don't get to see often (ahem....Hayden's grandparents....ahem) and even those of you we see regularly, to keep up with our family and check out new pictures of little Hayden of course! Posting everything in one spot for everyone to look at is so much easier than emailing everyone pictures...and this way you only have to look at our pictures and check in on what's going on with us when you want to, instead of me sending out emails and bugging you! Ha!
So be patient and I will try to weekly post pictures of Hayden and give you guys updates!
