Mother's Day Weekend 2010

Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas out there!!! I hope you all had as wonderful a day as I did!!!
We started our weekend off in Colorado City at the Pax 96 Ranch. Our friends, David and Emily Phillips are the ranch owners and have an annual crawfish boil in May that we have been able to go to for the past couple of years because of the kiddos. We were soooo excited that we got to go this year! We had LOTS of fun and crawfish. Hayden went with Davin early Saturday morning on his very first Turkey hunt!!! And no, Hayden did not shoot the gun so don't panic! Davin shot the turkey, but Hayden was right there with him and was sooooo excited! He came back to the lodge and screamed, "Mommy, I shot a turkey!!! Well, Daddy shot the Turkey, it was soooo cool!" It was the cutest thing ever to see how much fun Hayden had with his daddy. I know this hunt is just the first of many and I know it was really special for Davin to take his son out on his first hunting adventure. I love seeing my two boys bond and make memories like that together :) Yesterday afternoon we had the crawfish boil and OH MY GOSH, Peyton LOVES crawfish!!! Seriously, there is nothing this girl won't eat! Jeez!!! We drove back home late last night so we wouldn't have to be on the road on Mother's Day.
This morning I got a sweet card and a spa package called "Mother's Bliss" at one of the spas here in SA. Ahhhhhhh, how I will relish that!!! I'm so lucky to have the husband and children that I have :) After the four of us lounged around in our bed and watched Mickey Mouse for a little bit, we got dressed and went to brunch at Paloma Blanca...Mommy's FAV mexican restaurant!!! Then we went to the Witte Museum to see the Dinosaur exhibit that we were supposed to see three weeks ago, but instead we all got sick and went to the hospital. It was a wonderful day!!! I have posted pics below for you guys!! Love to you all!!!!
