An Anniversary, a Colonoscopy, and Heart Disease

Hello all. I hope everyone is continuing to have a wonderful summer! Things have certainly been interesting at our house lately. First of all, Davin and I celebrated our 8th Wedding Anniversary on Tuesday! Wow! Unfortunately we couldn't really celebrate as I had to get a Colonoscopy the next morning very early. Nice, right? Lol! I had to have several doctor appointments once school ended because I kept putting stuff off so I wouldn't miss work. I have been having some heart and stomach problems, but I think we are finally settled about everything. As for my stomach, the doctor says I have a spastic colon (spasms which have been causing a lot of pain) and likely microscopic colitis. We'll find out for sure once the biopsies come in. As far as my heart is concerned, I have high blood pressure and benign tachycardia---just an irregular heart rate. SO the doc has put me on beta blockers for the BP and cleared me to resume my marathon training, THANK GOD! I can't WAIT to run 10 miles tomorrow!!!!!! Davin and the kids are doing well. Hayden is just as sweet as ever and Peyton is LOVING her glasses! We're getting ready to go to Florida with Davin's family in a week and the kids will have LOTS of fun with that! Right after Florida, Davin and I are headed to Cabo, just the two of us! Sooooooo excited! Well, that's pretty much all that's going on here :) I'll post Florida pics if I can before we go to Cabo!

Peyton has strabismus (a wandering eye--her left one) so Cousin Jennifer (also our Optometrist) prescribed glasses for her for 6 months to see if her left eye gets better. She LOVES her new "gwathes" (glasses)! Lol!

I have been a horrible blogger lately! I have had quite a bit going on concerning the job hunt for next year and also having some medical stuff to take care of, that we should find out more about soon.
