I meant to post this after Christmas, but then a bunch of family stuff happened, the kids got sick, and I forgot :( BUT, I wanted to share with everyone that two of our best friends Erica and Casey are expecting their first baby around July 27th!!! Yay!!! Congrats to you guys! We love you bunches!!! You will get the greatest gift ever this summer and we can't wait to meet Baby Pearce!

Happy 3rd Birthday Hayden!!!!

Three years ago today, and after 16 and a half hours of labor, our beautiful baby boy was born! We never could have imagined how much our lives would change for the better once we had Hayden. He has made us a family and we cannot remember our lives without him in them. Even though today is his birthday, it is Davin and I who were given the most perfect gift in the form of our first-born child. We love him so much and it has been amazing to watch him grow into the kind, smart, handsome little man he is becoming. He is the BEST big brother in the world and definitely the most wonderful son. We love this little guy so much and could not be prouder of the person he is. Mommy, Daddy, and Sissy love you more than you will ever know Hayden! Happy Birthday baby!

January 2010 Catch-up!

Well 2010 started off very unexpectedly with the death of Davin's beloved grandfather on January 5. Caw Caw would have turned 96 years old this February 21. He was such a sweet, dear man and he loved his family so very much. I know how much his family loves him still and we will all miss him. Please continue to pray for Grammie and the rest of Davin's family as they get through this difficult time.

I have posted some photos below, in no particular order, of our Christmas/New Years Eve/Davin's 32nd Birthday that we spent with Davin's family in Houston. It was so much fun!

Davin's collections are starting to wind down for the year, which means he will be home more, yay! Hayden will be THREE next Wednesday (cannot believe my baby is 3!) and we are having his birthday party here at the house that following Saturday. Of course since he is going through his "dinoshaur" phase, we are having a Dino Party! Hahaha! It should be lots of fun!! Peyton and Hayden both were very sick for the first couple of weeks in January (Hayden had strep and Peyton had RSV and Bronchiolitis). Because of Peyton's RSV she had to take breathing treatments with a nebulizer every 6 hours for about 10 days. You can imagine how much a baby likes to be held down with a mask over her face for 15 minutes at a time. Needless to say, that was not fun. But both kids are doing very well now and I am so thankful for that! My last semester of grad school started and since I am taking three classes and studying for my MA exam that I will take in March, school is my LIFE right now. I finally worked out a study schedule and if I study for 8-10 hours a day, every day until the last day of February, then I will have three WHOLE weeks to only study my notes ad not do any more reading. That would be awesome!!! I am going to try very hard to do that, but with my other three class obligations and my kiddos, who knows what will happen, so please pray for my sanity, hahaha!

I hope 2010 has started out well for everyone and I will hopefully get some of Hayden's birthday pics up in a couple of weeks!
