Happy Halloween 2009!

We hit a new milestone...trick-or-treating!!!! Oh my goodness, it was sooooo much fun!!!! Hayden had a blast, other than not being too sure about people in masks...can't say I blame him. Honey and Poppy went along with us and we had lots of fun going through our neighborhood! Hayden was a pirate and Peyton was a princess, Cinderella (of course!). It was soooo neat watching Hayden go door to door and say "Trick-or-Treat"! He's so grown up. Ha!

We hope you had a Happy Halloween!!!!

Love to you all,
S:)

Happy Birthday Baby Gage!!!

Yesterday, October 24, 2009 Ashley and John welcomed their first child, a son named Gage Michael Kinkiad into the world!! Mommy and Baby are both doing very well. Gage weighs 7lbs even and is 19 and 3/4 inches long! He has a head full of brown hair, has his mama's toes, his Daddy's nose and is a pretty perfect combination of the two of them...so all in all he's GORGEOUS!!! We are all so happy for the new little Kinkaid family and can't wait to watch Gage grow!! We love you John, Ashley, and Gage!!

October Arkansas Trip

I took the kids to Arkansas last week for a visit and we had a great time!! Mimi and Papaw took us to Playworld, we went to a football game, played outside, saw a bunch of family and just LOVED it!!! Also, while we were there we discovered that Peyton has learned that when having her picture taken, when she sees the red light go off just before the picture takes---she smiles on command!! It is hilarious!! So Mimi and I took about 100 of these pictures once we discovered this!! Hayden of course is still a cheese for the camera, but come on...Peyton is a 7 month old infant and she's smart enough to figure out how and when to smile for the camera?!?!?!? My daughter is a genious! Hahahaha! Just go to the link below to view the slideshow. (Highlight the link and copy and paste it into your browser) Enjoy the pics!

October Update

Well, this time next week Honey and Poppy will be headed to San Antonio for good!! Yes, that's right!! They bought a house here in SA and close next Wednesday!! Their house in Nac has been on the market since July and they just happened to find a GREAT house here a few weeks ago! We're glad that Hayden and Peyton will have their grandparents so close by!

Also, I have posted a couple of Peyton's 7 month pics below (she turned 7 months old on Oct 9!!!!).

We are also anxiously awaiting the arrival of little Gage Kinkaid who is due October 28th, but he could come at any time!!!!

AND we are also hoping that Pat and Angel will find out the sexes of their twins in the next couple of weeks too!!! October is turning out to be a very exciting month!!!

Can't WAIT to take the kids trick-or-treating next week too!!!

Hope all is well with everyone!
Love,

S
